PADI Course in Tulamben

I am a PADI MSDT which is Master Scuba Diver Trainer basically an experienced instructor. Where I dive in Bali is perfect for new divers.  I love to free dive as well which is not so wimpy snorkeling and the wrecks are both excellent to free dive which I can teach you as well in ten minutes.

In Tulamben the sites are mostly all shore dives which is great for training as you can go from class room to the water in just minutes and you don't have to rush to meet other peoples schedules and boat departure times.

One of the things that I have found and the major dive organization will mostly agree with this, is that one of the main reasons that beginner divers quit is that they are rushed.

This is something that comes with experience you can usually tell when someone is stressing and if you take it easy and make sure that the diver is comfortable and spend as much time as you can making sure that they are comfortable with the skills, when they get into the ocean and start diving they are going to be much more relaxed and are going to really enjoy the experience. In fact they will enjoy it even more as they had to work harder to achieve it!

SSI has there program set up that you do the snorkeling and free diving first before you take the divers into the ocean with dive gear on and that is the way I teach all of my courses now. If you are swimming in water over your head and trying to dive down with a wetsuit on you will see that it is hard to do because you are very buoyant, so when you put the gear on them, with the BCD inflated, they know that they are going to be buoyant and that they can float easily on the surface even with the gear on, which removes a lot of stress from those new divers that are not strong swimmers.
